With more users remotely accessing the library these days, we have received an increased number of access issue reports, specifically browser errors that display:
when accessing library content through LIRN.
For users of the Comcast / Xfinity internet service, we have discovered a work-around for this issue, and have created a page that you can share with your students, faculty, and staff.
Please disseminate this information widely, as we have been told by Comcast that this must be addressed on a user-by-user basis, and we want to be sure that all Comcast markets take corrective action so that users are no longer impacted by this issue.
If you have a user that is experiencing this issue and does NOT have Comcast/Xfinity service, or is still experiencing issues after contacting Comcast, please contact LIRN support for further troubleshooting.
